Today was the last day of the semester and I found out from Nathan's literacy teacher, Mr. C, that he not only got an “A” in the class, but also had the top grade in the whole class with a 96.5%! Wow! Congratulations! It wouldn't surprise me at all, but this is a 6th grade literacy class and he is one of only two 4th graders in it! It is also the class where they are required to memorize a lengthy poems every unit. So far he's amazed us all with 3 poems starting with a tear jerker: “Little Boy Blue." The others are:
"Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost and "O Captain, My Captain" by Walt Whitman.
